Mei Gui Hua/ Rosebuds Longan/ Flos Rosae Rugosae. As per TCM definition it is sweet and slightly bitter in flavour and warm in nature, and is covers the Liver and Spleen meridians. It is rich in vitamin C, carotene, fructose, glucose, sucrose, citric acid and malic acid. Its main function is treating common gynecological diseases, such as irregular menstruation, premenstrual cold, morbid leucorrhea, menopausal syndrome, liver qi depression and mastitis. It is used to make jam, rose wine, rose syrup and tea.
